Business Development Manager - IT Services (Remote)

About the role

A recruiter is looking for a driven, target-oriented Business Development Manager for IT services, working remotely. The role expands the global client base and drives revenue growth by managing the full B2B sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to pitching custom software development, cloud solutions and IT staff augmentation, turning international prospects into long-term clients.

Key responsibilities

• Generate qualified B2B leads through outbound strategies such as cold emailing, LinkedIn Sales Navigator outreach and networking.
• Manage freelance marketplace bidding and proposal writing (e.g. Upwork, Guru) where applicable to company channels.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in international target markets such as North America, Europe and the GCC.
• Run discovery and intro calls with international stakeholders, founders and CTOs, then pitch capabilities including custom web/mobile development, AI/ML solutions, DevOps and dedicated engineering teams.
• Prepare commercial proposals, cost estimations and Statements of Work (SOW) with technical delivery teams.
• Track the sales pipeline in CRM software (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) and negotiate contracts, pricing and milestones to close deals.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and KPI targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven B2B sales or business development experience in the IT/software export industry.
• Exceptional written and verbal English, able to speak and negotiate with international clients.
• Good foundational knowledge of SDLC, IT outsourcing models and staff augmentation.
• High self-motivation, strong objection handling and a results-driven attitude.
