Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead strategic initiatives to expand JazzCash's on‑ground payments ecosystem, drive market growth, and achieve monthly sales targets. This role combines market analysis, sales team leadership, and partnership development to enhance business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an end‑to‑end on‑ground payments ecosystem powered by JazzCash mobile wallets.
• Identify new market segments, conduct comprehensive market analyses, and propose solutions to address gaps.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed monthly targets.
• Set strategic plans, objectives, and KPIs for the sales force.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
• Implement training programs to enhance sales team capabilities.
• Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic planning, or sales management, preferably in FMCG, telecommunications, or related industries.
• Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams.
• Strong expertise in distribution management and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated success in strategic business expansion.
