Business Development Manager

About the role

Bookme is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth of its travel and e‑ticketing platform across Pakistan. Based on‑site in Karachi and Lahore, you will identify new partnership opportunities, negotiate commercial agreements and help shape the product offering.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with bus operators, event organizers and other partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships, negotiate contracts and ensure partner success.
• Analyse market trends, customer behavior and competitor activity to recommend new products, partnerships and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and operations teams to design and execute go‑to‑market plans.
• Track key performance indicators, prepare business proposals and presentations, and report on pipeline and performance.
• Represent Bookme at industry meetings, conferences and events.

Required profile

• Proven business development or sales experience, including lead generation, prospecting and closing partnerships.
• Strong relationship‑management, stakeholder communication and negotiation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and build business cases.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with product, marketing and operations teams.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Urdu proficiency is a plus.
• Background in e‑commerce, travel, mobility, fintech or high‑growth tech companies preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Lahore and travel for partner meetings.
