Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will work full‑time on‑site in Karachi East District, focusing on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for EFU Life Assurance. The role involves prospecting, networking, and building long‑term relationships with both individual and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings and present life assurance products.
• Provide basic financial guidance and prepare proposals and documentation.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, handle client queries, and coordinate with internal teams for policy issuance and after‑sales support.
• Track performance metrics, analyze market trends, and contribute to branch initiatives to meet sales and growth targets.

Required profile

• Strong new‑business development skills, including lead generation and relationship‑building.
• Solid analytical abilities and a foundational understanding of finance to interpret client needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client meetings and presentations.
• Customer‑focused mindset with proven customer service capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in sales, insurance, banking or financial services is an advantage.
• Ability to thrive in a target‑driven environment with strong time‑management and organizational skills.
