Business Development Specialist – Lead Generation

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist to generate qualified leads, identify potential clients, and create new business opportunities. The role involves researching target markets, conducting cold outreach, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to grow the client base.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate potential leads using online research, Google Maps, LinkedIn, business directories, and other platforms.
• Build and maintain accurate databases of prospects, including verified emails and phone numbers.
• Conduct cold outreach via email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and track responses.
• Qualify leads based on business needs, budget, and interest, and schedule meetings with interested prospects.
• Maintain lead records and outreach activities in a CRM or spreadsheet, and report daily/weekly performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong research and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and meet lead‑generation targets.
• Goal‑oriented attitude, attention to detail, and effective time‑management.

Required skills

• Online research and prospecting tools (Google Maps, LinkedIn).
• Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel for data organization.
• Basic knowledge of CRM systems and lead management.
• Familiarity with prospecting platforms such as Apollo, Hunter, Snov.io.
• Cold email campaign creation and follow‑up.
