About the role

Aftab Associates (AAL), a marketing research firm serving clients across Pakistan since 1983, is hiring Calling Agents in Lahore. The team builds custom and syndicated research to give actionable insight into changing consumer needs. The Calling Agent supports research projects through courteous, accurate telephone interactions, in an office-based role suited to someone with clear communication skills and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to respondents and run structured research interviews using approved questionnaires and scripts.
• Explain the purpose of each call clearly, obtain consent where required, and follow research and privacy protocols.
• Record responses accurately in the designated system and check entries for completeness and consistency.
• Maintain a professional, neutral tone, handle questions respectfully, and meet call and data-quality targets.
• Flag incomplete records or issues to the supervisor and attend project briefings and updates on survey instructions.

Required profile

• Fluency in Urdu; proficiency in English or other local languages is an advantage.
• Active listening, patience and confidence speaking with people from varied backgrounds.
• Good time management, reliability and willingness to follow project instructions and feedback.

Required skills

• Clear spoken communication and a courteous, professional telephone manner.
• Ability to read and follow survey scripts and questionnaires accurately without leading respondents.
• Accurate data entry and careful review of recorded responses.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with forms, spreadsheets or recording systems.
