Canada Tax Accountant – Lahore (Onsite)

About the role

Bestax Accountants, a Toronto‑based firm, is seeking an experienced Canada Tax Accountant to join its Lahore office. You will work closely with the Toronto team to provide tax compliance, planning and reporting services for Canadian corporate and individual clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate (T2) and personal (T1) tax returns in accordance with CRA regulations.
• Assist with GST/HST, payroll tax and other statutory filings.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to optimise client liabilities.
• Stay current with CRA updates and tax law changes.
• Conduct financial statement analysis for accurate tax calculations.
• Manage tax audits, notices and communications with CRA on behalf of clients.
• Support bookkeeping and financial reporting for Canadian clients.
• Collaborate with the Toronto accounting team to meet client expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of experience in Canadian taxation and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws, CRA regulations and compliance.
• Experience with T1, T2, GST/HST and payroll tax filings.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• CPA Canada/CPA (Pak) or equivalent certification is a plus.
