Catalog Manager

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Catalog Manager to join our Lahore office and support a UK-based food packaging supplier. The role will own product research, sourcing, supplier development and catalogue expansion across a range of packaging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the client’s expanding food-packaging catalogue.
• Source and negotiate directly with Chinese manufacturers and develop supplier relationships.
• On-board factories and manage supplier performance, including product sampling and quality control.
• Conduct product research, competitor analysis and pricing strategy.
• Attend the Canton Fair and factory visits in China (company funded).
• Collaborate closely with the CEO, E‑commerce Manager and Operations team.
• Develop sourcing strategies for eco-friendly and premium packaging ranges.
• Manage procurement workflows using Zoho Inventory and CRM systems.

Required profile

• Experience in catalog management with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced analytical skills for assessing catalog data.
• Excellent communication and proven team-leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with catalog-management software and related tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.
• Previous e‑commerce or retail experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of food-packaging materials and products.
• Direct Chinese factory sourcing experience.
• Supplier negotiation and procurement expertise.
• Experience with product specifications, sampling and supplier vetting.
• Understanding of UK food-service packaging market.
