Chairman, Evacuee Trust Property Board (Contract)

About the role

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony is re-advertising the post of Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) on a contract basis. The ETPB is a statutory body under the administrative control of the Ministry, whose main function is the management and disposal of evacuee trust properties attached to charitable, religious or educational trusts or institutions. The initial contract is for three years, extendable by two years on the recommendation of the Performance Evaluation Committee.

Required profile

• Master's degree or equivalent (minimum 16 years of education) in business administration, law, public administration, finance, economics, engineering or social sciences from a university or institute recognised by HEC, with 20 years of experience in one of those disciplines.
• Citizen of Pakistan.
• Not declared a defaulter, insolvent or convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude by a court of law.
• Aged between 42 and 65 on the closing date for applications.
• Unimpeachable reputation, financial integrity, judicious devotion and moral propriety.

Applicants must file an affidavit confirming they meet these criteria with their application. Applications are submitted by post within 15 days of the advertisement, with a detailed CV and attested copies of degrees, testimonials, experience certificates, photographs and CNIC. Incomplete applications are not accepted, and only shortlisted candidates are called for interview. Government servants apply through proper channels, and those who applied in the August 2023 advertisement need not apply again. No travel or daily allowance is admissible.
