Chief Security Officer – Aviation Security

About the role

The client, a leading aviation operator in Pakistan, seeks an experienced Chief Security Officer to lead the protection of passengers, crew, aircraft, facilities and assets. The CSO will own the security program, ensuring full compliance with NCASP, PCAA and ICAO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously update the Aircraft Operator Security Program Manual (AOSP) in line with PCAA, NCASP and ICAO regulations.
• Conduct threat assessments, risk analyses and intelligence monitoring, implementing anti‑sabotage and heightened‑threat measures as required.
• Coordinate with PCAA AVSEC, Airports Security Force, FIA, Customs, ANF, IB, local police and international authorities.
• Oversee security vetting and background clearance of all personnel through state security agencies.
• Plan, deploy and train security staff, manage budgets across stations and enforce a zero‑tolerance policy for corruption.
• Lead internal and external security audits, investigations and vigilance units, ensuring rapid resolution of findings.

Required profile

• Retired senior military officer, former ASF officer or senior civil security professional with extensive aviation security leadership.
• 10–15 years of security management experience, preferably in aviation or large corporate environments.
• Deep knowledge of NCASP, PCAA AVSEC regulations, ICAO Annex 17 and state security agency protocols.
• Proven executive leadership, crisis management and inter‑agency coordination abilities.
