Child Protection Advocacy Consultant (3‑month contract)

About the role
UNICEF is seeking a qualified consultant to support child protection advocacy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The 3‑month assignment will be remote‑based with travel as needed, focusing on legal and policy reform to address child marriage and other protection gaps.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Child Protection Advocacy Framework.
- Lead targeted advocacy initiatives for legal and policy reforms related to child marriage and protection.
- Strengthen local government ownership and promote interoperable child protection systems.
- Coordinate advocacy engagement with the KPCPWC and LGRD, ensuring alignment with UNICEF’s overall supervision.
- Produce analytical reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
Required profile
- Pakistani national with proven experience in child protection, advocacy, or policy reform.
- Familiarity with the legal and socio‑cultural context of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- Ability to work remotely while traveling for field activities.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
