Civil Design Engineer – Structural Projects

About the role

DAR Engineering is looking for an experienced Civil Design Engineer to create high‑quality structural designs for a variety of building types. The role is based on‑site in Lahore and involves close collaboration with senior designers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural designs and calculations for low, mid‑rise and high‑rise projects in healthcare, residential, office, hospitality and entertainment sectors.
• Estimate construction costs, material quantities and prepare BOQs, specifications and value‑engineering alternatives.
• Follow local and international codes (SBC, ACI, IBC, ASCE, SASO) and company design guidelines.
• Provide technical support to senior team members and coordinate with clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering; certifications preferred.
• 5‑8 years of experience in structural design and analysis for diverse building types.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and local regulations.
• Excellent English communication skills for presentations and documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural analysis software: ETABS, SAFE, SAP, STAAD Pro.
• Competence in drafting tools: AutoCAD and Revit.
• Advanced MS Excel for calculations and data management.
