Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Cameo's Consultancy is a professional services firm that delivers practical, efficient and sustainable solutions for civil infrastructure projects, supporting public and private clients through planning, design and oversight of construction works. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer based in Sukkur to prepare and review engineering designs, drawings and specifications, and support planning from concept through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings and specifications for infrastructure projects
• Conduct site visits and perform technical calculations
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and other engineers
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Monitor project progress and support stormwater and drainage solutions
• Prepare reports and documentation, and contribute to cost estimates and schedules
• Help resolve technical issues during construction and maintain quality and safety standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional registration or licensure is an advantage
• Experience working in teams of civil engineers and in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to perform on-site inspections in Sukkur and communicate clearly in writing and verbally
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards and construction practices; prior experience in infrastructure or municipal projects is beneficial

Required skills

• Design and review of structural, infrastructure and site development plans
• Stormwater management knowledge, including drainage design, runoff analysis and adherence to local environmental regulations
• Planning skills for project phases, work schedules and resource allocation
• Proficiency with engineering and drafting software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and strong numerical and analytical skills
