Civil Engineer – Manager Information System

About the role

The Manager Information Systems (MIS) will support the engineering function by delivering dashboards, performance tracking and data‑driven insights. The role blends civil engineering knowledge with business analytics to improve project monitoring and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
• Collect and consolidate data from PMO, Cost, QA/QC, field teams, contractors and maintenance for regular reporting.
• Assist management in tracking budget utilization, project expenditures and KPI performance.
• Develop and maintain MIS databases, reporting systems and a centralized master database of engineering activities.
• Apply AI‑based analytics to forecast project delays, material needs or budget overruns.
• Prepare presentations and management reports for senior leadership.
• Identify variances, risks and performance gaps and recommend data‑driven improvements.

Required profile

• BE in Civil Engineering (preferred, from HEC/PEC recognized university).
• MBA from a HEC‑recognized or top‑tier institute.
• 4–7 years of engineering or project‑based experience.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard development).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, VBA/macros).
• Experience transforming operational, engineering and financial data into actionable insights.
• Understanding of ERP systems, databases and data integration processes.
• Ability to automate reporting and improve efficiency through digital solutions.
