Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Peshawar/Sargodha)

About the role

Chughtai Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join its laboratory team in Pakistan. The successful candidate will apply clinical laboratory techniques to perform accurate tests that support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests following standard operating procedures.
• Collect, label, and handle biological samples while ensuring integrity and preventing contamination.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments in compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
• Use Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to record, process, and manage laboratory data efficiently.
• Adhere to safety standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe laboratory environment.
• Assist in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure reliable test results.
• Report test findings accurately and promptly to medical personnel while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and coordinate replenishment with the procurement team.
• Participate in continuous training to stay updated on laboratory techniques and new technologies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support clinical trials and research activities when required.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of results.
• Ability to follow protocols for sample preservation, contamination prevention, and documentation.
• Willingness to work under supervision and contribute to smooth laboratory operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Competence in sample collection and handling.
