Cloud Architect – AWS Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to join a cutting‑edge AI training platform on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure that directly supports next‑generation AI model development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
• Implement secure identity, access, and network configurations using IAM and VPC best practices.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues using CloudWatch and related tools.
• Develop Bash and Python scripts to automate operational tasks and improve reliability.
• Enforce robust security and compliance standards across all deployments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience designing and managing production‑grade AWS environments.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Required skills

• AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC).
• Infrastructure as Code tools – Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Monitoring with AWS CloudWatch.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and cloud compliance.
