Cloud Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

We are hiring for a client to fill a Cloud Engineer position on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting scalable infrastructure for software development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.
• Implement and enforce security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana or ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
