College Counselor Intern

About the role

Colleges Pro is an educational mentorship firm that supports students from career counseling to visa assistance, tailoring college options to each student's goals. It is hiring a College Counselor intern for a full-time, on-site position in the Lahore division. The counselor guides students through college selection and applications, assessing their academic profiles, interests and career goals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students.
• Support high school students with application timelines, application essays, documentation and admission requirements.
• Advise on standardized tests and admission requirements.
• Help students understand financial aid options, scholarships and funding pathways.
• Coordinate with families to clarify processes and expectations.
• Maintain accurate student records.
• Prepare guidance materials and workshops.
• Collaborate with internal team members to improve the counseling experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Experience guiding college applications, including essays, documentation and admission requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with high school students and knowledge of student financial aid and scholarships for domestic and international programs.
• Familiarity with local and international higher education systems; prior experience in college counseling or academic advising is preferred.
