Commercial Account Executive – Outbound Sales

About the role

Motive is looking for a Commercial Outbound Account Executive to drive new business across its fleet‑management platform. You will work in a fast‑paced, quota‑driven environment, building executive relationships and expanding Motive’s footprint with major accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and win new business by developing strong executive relationships and growing share of wallet.
• Survey prospects to understand pain points and align Motive’s solution to their needs.
• Demo Motive software to fleet managers and drivers.
• Partner with Account Managers and Freight Ops, leveraging analytics to optimize buying decisions.
• Resolve problems, identify issues, and implement optimal solutions.
• Plan and exceed revenue quotas while deepening knowledge of Motive’s technology platform.

Required profile

• 3+ years of outbound B2B sales experience with international clients (US/Canada/UK).
• Proven track record of hunting, exceeding quotas, and growing a sales book.
• Strong end‑to‑end ownership from prospecting to closing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence executive decision‑makers.
• Data‑driven mindset for setting short, medium, and long‑term sales goals.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent exposure to US/Canada/UK B2B customers.
