Commis Chef – Upscale Dining Experience

About the role

We are launching an exclusive, first‑of‑its‑kind dining experience in Karachi and need a motivated Commis Chef to join our team from day one. You will work within a specific kitchen section under the Chef de Partie and Head Chef, supporting prep, service and station upkeep while developing professional kitchen skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie with daily prep and service in your assigned section.
• Prepare mise en place, basic sauces and marinations to required standards.
• Maintain station cleanliness, organization and stock throughout service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and storage guidelines at all times.
• Receive, check and store deliveries with proper labeling and rotation.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a professional kitchen (commis, kitchen assistant, intern) or culinary school background.
• Dependable, punctual and takes pride in a clean, tidy workspace.
• Can run a station confidently and handle service pressure.
• Follows instructions while taking initiative when needed.
• Curious about ingredients, techniques and food trends.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to prepare mise en place and basic sauces.
