Head Chef (Beef & Steaks) – Texas‑Style Smokehouse

About the role

We are launching a Texas‑style smokehouse in Lahore and need an experienced Head Chef to shape our beef and steak menu from day one. You will lead the kitchen team, develop signature dishes, and ensure consistent quality across all offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the beef and steak menu, overseeing smoking, preparation, and plating.
• Develop and create signature sides and house‑made sauces.
• Design, test, and standardize recipes with consistent portions and quality.
• Set kitchen standards, SOPs, and quality‑control procedures.
• Manage food costing, inventory, ordering, and waste control.
• Recruit, train, and supervise the kitchen team.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and HACCP food‑safety standards.
• Collaborate with management on menu planning and the restaurant launch.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional kitchen experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise with beef, steaks, and BBQ/smoking techniques.
• Hands‑on knowledge of smokers, grills, and slow‑cooking methods.
• Experience in menu development, recipe creation, and food costing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP certification preferred).
• Ability to lead and train a kitchen team under pressure.
• Experience in a pre‑opening or new restaurant setup is a plus.
• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred.
