Communication Officer (Social & Digital) – Punjab Family Planning Program

About the role

The Punjab Family Planning Program (PFPP), funded by the World Bank, is seeking qualified professionals to strengthen its communication and gender outreach efforts. Two positions are open: a Communication Officer (Social & Digital) and a Social and Gender Officer. Both roles will support the program’s objectives of improving family planning services across Punjab.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies for PFPP initiatives.
• Manage social and digital media channels to raise awareness and engage target audiences.
• Produce content, including articles, videos, and graphics, aligned with program goals.
• Coordinate with development project teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Conduct gender-sensitive outreach and support community engagement activities.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of communication campaigns.

Required profile

• Master's degree from an HEC‑recognized university in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media, Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Development or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in communication, social media, or gender‑focused development work.
• Experience in World Bank‑funded or similar development projects is preferred.
• Female or transgender candidates are encouraged to apply.
