Community & Engagement Officer

About the role

The Community & Engagement Officer will join Roots Millennium Schools & Colleges – TME in Islamabad to strengthen connections between the institution and its students, families, alumni, and wider community. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on fostering a vibrant, inclusive environment that supports the school’s mission and values.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with students, families, alumni, and community partners.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute community events, outreach activities, and engagement campaigns.
• Support school and college initiatives through effective communication and stakeholder collaboration.
• Manage social‑media and communication channels related to community engagement.
• Collect and analyse feedback to continuously improve engagement programs.
• Work closely with academic and administrative teams to enhance the overall community experience.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in community outreach, stakeholder engagement, or public relations within an educational or nonprofit setting.
• Proven capability to plan, organise, and deliver events, workshops, and campaigns.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Social Sciences, Marketing, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered).
• Commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and student‑centred practices.
