Content Manager - Proposal Content Governance

About the role

Motive, a platform that helps physical operations teams manage drivers, vehicles, equipment and fleet spend, is looking for a Content Manager. The role develops, maintains and optimizes the company's content library within Responsive (RFPIO) and acts as the central point of contact for content governance across multiple regions and product pods, working with proposal managers, product marketing, sales engineering and subject matter experts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end content lifecycle in Responsive (RFPIO), including curation, tagging, auditing and archiving.
• Keep the proposal content governance framework running, covering review cadences, version control and stakeholder coordination across product lines and departments.
• Work with Product, Solutions Engineering, Sales and Marketing to keep content accurate and aligned with capabilities, regional compliance and messaging.
• Maintain regional content collections and templates (U.S., Mexico, Canada, Europe) and oversee translation coordination where needed.
• Tag and review content to improve AI-assisted response quality in Responsive.
• Manage reusable modular content blocks across top RFP categories to speed proposal drafting and reduce SME rework.
• Support proposal templates and proactive sales proposal formats that improve storytelling and customer engagement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in content strategy, technical writing, proposal management or sales enablement.
• Strong project management skills and comfort managing large content libraries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; coordinating across global teams, with bi-lingual skills, is a plus.
• Experience supporting global sales teams or working in international markets is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Responsive, Loopio, SharePoint or similar RFP platforms.
• Deep understanding of the proposal lifecycle in a B2B SaaS or tech environment.
• Familiarity with AI-powered search or content automation tools is a plus.
