Content Producer – Sports

About the role

tapmad is looking for a passionate Content Producer to lead the creation and delivery of sports‑related content across its digital platforms. You will shape storytelling, oversee production, and ensure each piece drives audience engagement and viewership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute content strategies for sports programming and digital channels.
• Plan, produce, and manage live and recorded sports assets, including highlights, interviews, features, and promos.
• Coordinate with production crews, presenters, commentators, and editors to meet tight delivery schedules.
• Create and maintain content calendars aligned with events, tournaments, and audience interests.
• Research sports trends and emerging stories to generate fresh content ideas.
• Write and review scripts, rundowns, captions, and promotional copy.
• Ensure all content meets quality, accuracy, and brand‑guideline standards.
• Collaborate with social media and marketing teams to maximize reach and engagement.
• Monitor performance metrics and recommend optimisations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Journalism, Sports Management or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in content production, broadcasting or sports journalism.
• Strong knowledge of and passion for local and international sports.
• Excellent storytelling, writing and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, live‑event environment.
