Contentful Developer (Offshore)

About the role

ML arteka is looking for a Contentful Developer (offshore) to design, build and maintain content models, integrations and frontend delivery for its headless CMS platform. The role works closely with architects, designers, developers, QA and content authors to ship performant, scalable digital experiences and support content setup across digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and configure Contentful content models, entries, spaces, environments, locales and workflows
• Design reusable modular content structures, references and nested content models
• Build custom Contentful applications, extensions, integrations, webhooks and automation
• Integrate Contentful CDA, CMA, REST and GraphQL APIs with frontends such as Angular and Next.js
• Manage multi-environment and multi-locale content architectures
• Support content migration, data transformation, mapping and validation from legacy CMS platforms and product catalogs
• Troubleshoot content delivery, API integration and rendering issues
• Perform code reviews, unit testing and performance optimization
• Use AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf) and take part in Agile ceremonies, CI/CD, release management and production support

Required profile

• 3 to 8 years of CMS/web development experience with strong hands-on Contentful experience
• Strong understanding of headless CMS architecture and composable digital experience platforms
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach

Required skills

• Contentful APIs (CDA, CMA, REST, GraphQL)
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum
• Nice to have: Angular or Next.js, Node.js, Java or Spring Boot, familiarity with telecom or large-scale digital retail/eCommerce environments
