Corporate M&A Attorney (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced corporate attorney to provide legal guidance on mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and supports a global technology leader in executing complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate merger and acquisition agreements, asset purchase agreements and related transaction documents.
• Conduct legal due diligence on target companies, identifying risks and liabilities.
• Advise on corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder meetings and regulatory compliance.
• Structure and document corporate reorganizations, joint ventures and strategic alliances.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external counsel and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth transaction execution.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum five years of experience in corporate law with a focus on M&A.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently.
