Creative Designer (US Graphic Design Experience Required)

About the role

A creative designer is needed to produce social media posts, advertising creatives, motion graphics and digital assets. The role works 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Standard Time, and requires hands-on experience with US graphic design.

Key responsibilities

• Design social media posts, carousels, banners and promotional graphics
• Create advertising creatives for Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok and other platforms
• Produce 2D animations, motion graphics and animated explainer videos
• Edit short-form and long-form videos, including reels, testimonials, interviews and promotional videos
• Design website banners, landing page graphics, infographics and other digital assets
• Develop storyboards, visual concepts and creative ideas for marketing campaigns
• Use AI tools for image generation, video creation, animation and creative enhancement
• Adapt assets for different platforms, dimensions and formats, keeping brand consistency and delivering editable files

Required profile

• 2-3 years of professional experience in graphic design, creative design, multimedia design or a related field
• Strong portfolio showing graphic design, social media creatives, advertising materials and digital content
• Hands-on experience with video editing, motion graphics and 2D animation
• Experience using AI-powered creative tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects, follow brand guidelines and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and Canva
• Knowledge of design principles, typography, colour theory, composition and visual hierarchy
• Familiarity with video formats, aspect ratios, resolutions and export requirements

What we offer

• Pay of $6 CAD/hour for weeks 1-4, $7 CAD/hour for weeks 5-8, and $8 CAD/hour from week 9 onwards
