Credentialing Specialist – Medical Billing

About the role

HR Business Solutions is looking for a detail‑oriented Credentialing Specialist to support its medical billing operations. The role focuses on provider enrolment and credentialing for US‑based insurance payers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage provider credentialing and re‑credentialing with insurance payers.
• Complete and submit enrolment applications accurately and within deadlines.
• Follow up with insurance companies to track application status.
• Maintain CAQH profiles and all related provider documentation.
• Ensure compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve credentialing issues.
• Prepare credentialing reports and keep records up to date.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of credentialing experience with a US‑based medical billing company.
• Strong knowledge of CAQH, NPI, PECOS, and commercial insurance enrollment processes.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and credentialing software.
