Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Join our cybersecurity team in Karachi to protect systems, data, and people while tackling emerging AI‑driven threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents across networks, endpoints, cloud and applications.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and threat hunting.
• Manage security tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Secure AI and LLM‑based applications against prompt injection, data leakage and other novel threats.
• Develop policies for safe AI tool usage and address AI‑enabled threats like deepfake fraud and AI‑generated phishing.
• Evaluate AI‑powered security solutions and support compliance with ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking, Windows/Linux, Active Directory and cloud security.
• Experience with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, incident response and vulnerability management.
• Working knowledge of AI/LLM security risks.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
