Cybersecurity Specialist – InfoSec & Vulnerability Management (Remote)

About the role

Vector Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to strengthen its security posture in a dynamic fintech environment. The role focuses on vulnerability management, network security, and the operation of SIEM platforms such as Splunk and IBM QRadar, while supporting cloud and application security initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments across network and application environments.
• Implement, configure, and fine‑tune SIEM solutions (Splunk Enterprise Security, IBM QRadar) and create custom detection rules.
• Perform penetration testing and intrusion detection to simulate attack vectors.
• Analyze threat intelligence and adjust security strategies accordingly.
• Develop and maintain identity and access management policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed AppSec best practices.
• Lead hacker‑proofing efforts and design cloud security controls.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts, ensuring timely incident resolution.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of security configurations, policies, and incidents.

Required profile

• Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to emerging threats.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills across global, offshore teams.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or banking security environments is a plus.
