D365 F&O Functional Consultant

About the role

A Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner specialising in ERP implementations, CRM modernisation, cloud migrations and Microsoft technologies is looking for a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant in Islamabad. The consultant understands business requirements, designs and configures D365 F&O solutions and supports clients through implementation and post-go-live.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements through client discussions and discovery workshops.
• Translate requirements into functional D365 F&O solutions and configure modules based on business needs.
• Carry out fit-gap / fit-to-standard analysis and recommend solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications and work with technical consultants on development and integrations.
• Support data migration, system integration, testing, UAT and issue resolution.
• Prepare test scenarios, user documentation and training materials.
• Support deployment, go-live and post-go-live stabilisation, and provide functional support and troubleshooting.
• Maintain project documentation and communicate with clients and internal teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in D365 F&O functional consulting, implementation or support.
• Experience in requirements gathering, testing, UAT and issue resolution.
• Ability to prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of ERP business processes and D365 F&O functionality.
• Hands-on experience configuring D365 F&O and functional requirements.
• Functional areas: General Ledger, AP/AR, Budgeting & Fixed Assets, Procurement, Inventory & Warehouse, Sales & Order Management, Supply Chain, Project Management & Accounting, Expense Management & Workflows.
• Preferred: full-cycle implementations, multiple modules, data migration, system integrations, Power Platform, Power BI, international client experience and Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
