Data and AI Manager

About the role

Lead the Data & AI function within DDT at National Foods Limited, driving measurable value from trusted data, advanced analytics and AI (including GenAI) for strategic decision‑making and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise Data & AI strategy, maintain the roadmap and ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Partner with business leaders to identify high‑impact analytics, AI/ML and GenAI use‑cases and translate them into scalable data/AI products.
• Design and oversee analytics and AI solutions, including data pipelines, semantic layers, model serving and integration with workflows.
• Build, deploy and operationalise ML models (forecasting, segmentation, optimisation, risk) and establish MLOps practices.
• Lead AI experimentation (copilots, RAG, summarisation) while ensuring security, privacy and responsible AI governance.
• Govern BI products (dashboards, reports, self‑service datasets) for multiple functions and drive adoption.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data, analytics, BI or AI/ML roles with proven team‑leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud data & AI platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data‑warehousing/lakehouse patterns.

Required skills

• Power BI, Tableau or Qlik for BI reporting.
• SQL, Python and DAX for data manipulation and analysis.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• ML frameworks and MLOps tools (CI/CD, model registry, monitoring).
• Prompt engineering and GenAI concepts.
