Defense Observer (Part‑time, Remote)

About the role

Monitop Consulting Ltd. is seeking international defence observers with strong analytical capabilities. The position is part‑time, remote and focuses on security developments across South Asia, West Asia and the Indian Ocean.

Key responsibilities

• Track military movements, defence policy changes, arms procurement and geopolitical conflicts.
• Monitor defence cooperation trends and produce objective, in‑depth briefings for strategic assessments.
• Collect and consolidate open‑source information in multiple languages, distinguishing propaganda from factual data.

Required profile

• Experience in geopolitical analysis of South Asia, West Asia and the Indian Ocean region.
• Ability to gather, trace and verify multi‑source information, including official propaganda and disinformation.
• Knowledge of military order of battle, armament systems, defence budgets, arms trade, exercises, base deployments and military‑industrial development.
• Professional analytical writing skills for clear, logically structured reports.

• Salary range PKR 60,000 – 200,000 per month.
