Demand Manager

About the role

The Demand Manager will lead demand planning and forecasting activities, ensuring that market demand aligns with inventory availability and business objectives. This role works closely with Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to improve forecast accuracy, optimise inventory, and support service excellence through effective S&OP processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate short‑, medium‑, and long‑term demand forecasts.
• Lead the demand planning process and support S&OP/IBP cycles.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to align forecasts with business plans.
• Analyse demand trends, market dynamics, and forecast variances to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while meeting targeted service levels and minimising risks.
• Monitor planning KPIs such as forecast accuracy, bias, product availability, and inventory health.
• Conduct scenario planning and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
• Drive process improvements using data‑driven insights to enhance planning effectiveness.

Required profile

• MBA or Supply Chain certification.
• 8‑12 years of relevant experience in demand planning or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain, demand management, and inventory optimisation.
• Understanding of cold‑chain and temperature‑controlled logistics.
• Exposure to transportation and fleet management.
• Excellent analytical and forecasting capabilities.
