Deputy Manager - Development

About the role

The Deputy Manager – Development will lead fundraising and resource development activities for NOWPDP, a nonprofit focused on the welfare and empowerment of persons with disabilities. This permanent, full‑time position is based in Lahore and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research prospective donors, foundations, corporations, government entities and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Develop and coordinate grant proposals, concept notes and applications in collaboration with internal teams.
• Maintain donor pipelines, conduct outreach, and manage regular communications and stewardship activities.
• Build and manage partnerships with corporate, community and philanthropic organisations.
• Maintain donor databases, fundraising trackers and prepare periodic reports on pipeline progress and revenue forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, marketing, communications or related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, grant writing or nonprofit development.
• Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously.

Required skills

• Familiarity with donor management software and CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of disability issues and experience in branding/communications is a plus.
