Design Coordinator (Architect/Draftsman)

About the role

We are seeking a Design Coordinator to bridge the gap between architects, engineers, and construction teams. In this position you will ensure design concepts are accurately translated into detailed drawings and that projects stay on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop and refine design concepts.
• Create precise architectural drawings and plans using CAD software.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to maintain design integrity and compliance.
• Assist in preparing construction documents, specifications, and material analyses.
• Review building codes and integrate them into design and planning.
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, and milestones.
• Provide technical support during construction to resolve design issues.
• Conduct site visits to verify that plans align with actual conditions.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in architectural design or drafting on commercial or residential projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction processes, and building codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage several projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with BIM software and 3D modeling.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
