Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our on‑site team in Islamabad. The role involves managing, supporting and maintaining desktop computers for our clients, ensuring smooth daily operations and rapid resolution of technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain desktop hardware and operating systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems on PCs and laptops.
• Provide printer installation, configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance.
• Perform routine diagnostics and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Assist users with technical queries and ensure minimal disruption during hardware upgrades or installations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Strong technical support and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for user assistance.
• Familiarity with basic IT infrastructure and networking concepts is a plus.
