DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure) – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure) to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to accelerate software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for high availability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to adopt DevOps best practices.
• Support and optimize cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
