DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a global IT services leader. The position is fully remote and focuses on automating infrastructure, ensuring reliable deployments, and supporting development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline application deployment and integration.
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Git version control and branching strategies.
