DevOps Engineer

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will ensure SLA compliance, lead urgent issues and projects, and work closely with development teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. This role involves automating deployments, securing cloud environments, and providing server support during production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to SLAs and lead urgent issue resolution.
• Communicate status updates and allocate appropriate staffing resources.
• Collaborate with development engineering to design, deploy, and maintain CI/CD infrastructure.
• Automate deployment of Linux applications, system configurations, and security settings.
• Deploy and support applications in cloud environments while maintaining security, reliability, scalability, and automation.
• Provide direct server support during deployments and production operations.
• Work with developers to ensure new environments meet requirements and best practices.
• Design, implement, and test agreed‑upon infrastructures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of professional experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, automation tooling, and virtualization techniques.
• Experience with open‑source tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc.
• Exposure to at least one cloud platform (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Basic scripting skills (Python, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell).
• Hands‑on experience with Linux distributions (RHEL 8, CentOS, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and a flexible, versatile attitude.
