About the role
Xynotech is looking for a full‑time DevOps Engineer to join its on‑site team in Karachi. You will design, implement and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that enable agile software development across distributed teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Linux‑based production systems, monitor performance and ensure reliable releases.
- Build, configure and optimise CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Ansible or similar frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers and project managers to improve build, test and deployment workflows.
Required profile
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a collaborative mindset.
- Experience working in fast‑paced environments, prioritising tasks while maintaining high quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.
Required skills
- IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible.
- Scripting/programming: Python, Bash.
- CI/CD platforms: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
- Advanced Linux system administration.
- Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (highly beneficial).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP (a plus).
