DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a global IT services leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote and focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that enable efficient software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues, and ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and integrations.
• Apply security best practices throughout infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong background in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of Git version control and branching strategies.
