DevOps Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure that powers next‑generation AI systems. The role is contract‑based and offers the chance to work with a global AI leader, collaborating with development teams to ensure reliable, automated delivery of AI model training and evaluation pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using Kubernetes for AI workloads.
• Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible or similar tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate continuous delivery across environments.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and resolve incidents proactively.
• Enforce security best practices, supporting compliance and data‑protection requirements.
• Document processes and communicate technical details to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS with a focus on Kubernetes.
• Strong background in automating infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD practices and system performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with security, compliance and data‑protection standards in DevOps.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
