DevOps Engineer – Remote

About the role

CuraLabel is seeking a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to join its fully remote engineering team. You will own the cloud infrastructure that powers our products, drive automation across the delivery pipeline, and partner closely with developers to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud environments (development, staging, production).
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Implement and manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, set up alerting, and respond to incidents.
• Automate operational tasks via scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed DevOps best practices.
• Manage secrets, access controls, and security configurations.
• Conduct capacity planning, cost optimisation, and document architecture and runbooks.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and using IaC tools.
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go).
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools.
• Good understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and security fundamentals.
• Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones.
