DevOps Engineer – SRE Focus

About the role

Qureos is building an AI‑native hiring platform and needs a mid‑level DevOps Engineer with a strong SRE mindset to keep its production systems reliable and performant as the company scales globally.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, including container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Cloud Run) for fast and safe code delivery.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting using Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus and New Relic.
• Define and own SLOs/SLIs, error budgets and lead incident response as incident commander.
• Run blameless post‑mortems and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Administer and optimise MongoDB clusters, including backup and disaster recovery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform/Ansible and scripting (Python/Bash) to reduce toil.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and collaborate with development, QA and engineering teams on production issues.

Required profile

• Mid‑level DevOps/SRE experience with end‑to‑end production ownership.
• Hands‑on expertise in GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, GKE).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes and MongoDB administration.
• Strong debugging methodology: observe, hypothesise, validate with data.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD tooling.
