DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer (GCP)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer with 3‑5 years of experience to design, build and keep our production infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform reliable. You will work closely with development, QA and IT teams to automate operations, implement observability and lead incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Implement scalable container orchestration using Docker.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and Google Cloud Run.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting using Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus and New Relic.
• Define and own SLOs/SLIs, lead incident response and run blameless post‑mortems.
• Administer and optimise MongoDB instances, including backup and disaster recovery.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Automate provisioning, configuration and operational tasks through scripting and GCP services.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to support the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
• Strong production instincts and ability to make reliable operational decisions.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and container technologies.
• Proven track record of building CI/CD pipelines and observability systems.
• Experience managing MongoDB or similar databases in production.
• Ability to lead incident response and conduct post‑mortems.
