Digital Marketing & Content Specialist

About the role

BAYANEXT, a Pakistan-based education consultancy focused on Malaysian higher education, is hiring a full-time remote Digital Marketing & Content Specialist. The specialist plans and runs digital campaigns that promote the company's services and strengthen its brand among prospective students and families, creating and managing content for social media, websites, blogs, email newsletters and other digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop content calendars, write and edit marketing copy, and design or coordinate visual assets
• Ensure consistent messaging across platforms and monitor performance metrics to optimise campaigns based on data
• Collaborate with counselling and operations teams to turn student queries and insights into relevant content
• Stay up to date with digital trends in education consulting, manage online communities and support lead generation and nurturing

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Urdu is an advantage
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle several projects and deadlines remotely
• Prior experience in education consulting, study-abroad services or youth-focused marketing is a plus

Required skills

• Digital marketing: social media management, campaign planning and basic SEO/SEM
• Content creation and editing, including copywriting for web, blogs, email and social media
• Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights and CRM or email marketing dashboards
• Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
