About the role

Sky47 is seeking a highly skilled Director Active to lead its technology strategy and infrastructure governance. Based in Islamabad, this senior leader will shape multi‑year IT roadmaps, drive cloud and AI adoption, and ensure enterprise IT reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the organization’s multi‑year IT strategy, aligning technology investments with business priorities.
• Provide technology advisory to executive leadership, highlighting risks and championing technology as a strategic enabler.
• Lead adoption of AI, cloud‑native platforms, and infrastructure modernization, deciding where to invest, partner, or build.
• Establish IT governance, operating models, and policy frameworks for accountability and compliance.
• Oversee core infrastructure platforms (data center, compute, storage, networking) ensuring availability, resilience, and lifecycle management.
• Manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning, with regular testing and documentation.
• Drive infrastructure automation and operational efficiency to support scalable growth.
• Define cloud strategy across public, private, and hybrid environments, ensuring cost efficiency, security, and performance.
• Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to translate cloud/AI service requirements into platform capabilities.
• Maintain enterprise IT services, including ITSM/ITAM/ITOM, ERP, CRM, and Microsoft 365, ensuring reliability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of progressive IT leadership experience.
• Proven track record in strategic technology planning and governance.
• Strong understanding of cloud, AI, and infrastructure modernization.
• Experience managing large‑scale enterprise IT environments and disaster recovery programs.
