Director Enterprise Risk Management

About the role

Mobilink Bank is seeking a strategic and forward‑thinking Director of Enterprise Risk Management to lead its enterprise‑wide risk function. Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, you will shape the bank’s risk governance framework and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve an integrated Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework aligned with SBP guidelines and Basel principles.
• Develop and maintain the Risk Appetite Framework, including risk appetite statements, tolerance limits, KRIs and Board‑level reporting.
• Oversee risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting across strategic, financial, operational, technology, compliance, digital banking, information security and Shariah domains.
• Lead strategic risk assessment, emerging market analysis and support for long‑term initiatives.
• Manage financial risk, liquidity oversight and adherence to approved risk parameters.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and Shariah governance.
• Strengthen operational risk controls, RCSA processes, incident management and issue remediation.
• Supervise technology and information security risk, including core banking platforms, digital channels and third‑party providers.
• Coordinate VEON Group risk reporting and integrate ESG and climate‑related financial risk considerations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise risk management within the banking sector.
• Deep knowledge of SBP regulations, Basel standards and international best practices.
• Proven ability to develop risk appetite frameworks and risk reporting structures.
• Strong understanding of strategic, financial, operational, technology, compliance, digital and Shariah risk domains.
• Leadership experience reporting to senior risk executives.
